Saturday 14 November 2009

Attempting my homework that is going to be due this coming Monday and Tuesday!!

And this is stressing me out!!!

Sunday 15 November 2009

My homework is finally done especially those due on Monday.

But I managed to complete most of it at 12am, leaving a few maths solutions needing to transfer from my rough workings to foolscap paper.

Monday 16 November 2009

I rushed to transfer my maths solutions to foolscap in the morning.

I felt a sense of relief when I handed in my assignments.

I felt proud of myself.

Firstly, I managed to start doing the assignments even though I felt horrified looking at the questions and not knowing how to approach it.

Secondly, I didn't escape or avoid doing something that is uncomfortable for me at the moment. I face my fears straight on. I know I have to face this early so that I will kill my fears by the time my examinations come. At the end of the day, I want to enjoy my exams!!!

This academic's year strategy would be to
* work very hard right from the beginning (which I always do)
* start reading essential readings very early (which I am now trying to keep up)
* start doing exam questions very early
( i think hopefully i can do it soon once I gather more or less the available exam papers)
Perhaps in December, which is coming soon =_=
* attempt all tutorials ( in short, do any available questions)
* have a clear and well-categorised personal notes for all subjects
* arrange timetable efficiently daily and don't put more tasks than i can possibly can do in 1 day for every subject ( i am struggling to stop being extremely over ambitious)
* Do not do things at 1 shot. Break it out into small bits so that I will not over planned than I could have accomplish in 1 day.
* Do backward induction of the amount and size of tasks I have to do in 1 day.

etc

Main Objective:
Struggle very hard at the beginning to get everything well done and understood ahead.
Get on top of things.

Long term aim: I want to enjoy my exams!!

Tuesday 17 Nov 2009

I feel confident with my essay homework.

I got so tired when I reached home.

I slept early even though I had a test tomorrow.

I can't bring myself to study.

Wednesday 18 Nov 2009

Test
I managed to finish writing what I know whereas some I forgot to questions.

I am too tired to continue studying in the library.

Lucky me!

It started raining once i stepped into the dance studio.

The key word is once !!! I find it amazing. As though the sky is just waiting for me to get into shelter before pouring rain.

Unfortunately, only 1 other guy showed up. The good thing is when there isn't that many people around, he stood near the mirror to practice. That's the spirit!!

And our dance instructor has no mood to teach a class when the majority aren't showing up. I understand her reasoning perfectly well because dance classes's atmosphere are supposed to be high. How can you be high with a class that doesn't show any passion in dance and just come to class as and when they like without any reasoning. And they appear after missing for several classes. My previous dance instructor had the same reaction too when fellow classmates didn't show the right attitude towards learning dance.

I learned a lot from the later class. And the classmates worked very hard in learning. During break time, they will try the dance steps with each other. It reminded me so much of my school cca days.

Can tell the obvious difference between my class and their class.

It is a good thing that I get to join the class.
1. I can look at the standard of the class.
2. I am glad the dance instructor noticed that I ain't learning anything from my current class. A little encouragement!!
