- You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.
- Abraham Lincoln, (attributed)
16th president of US (1809 - 1865)

And not surprisingly, my parents weren't happy about it. Can't they see i pushed myself so hard for the past period of holidays? I have reached my max and i need my break! If not, there won't be any productive work and what's the use of non-productive work?
Sigh...so i busied myself with drawing up my timetable for the rest of 2nd academic year.Back to school!
I am starting lessons early than the rest of my peers.
Felt very unhappy because i don't have any friends to be with during Micro and the tall guy decided to be absent. And i am supposed to take notes for him. (=_=)
The problem is this time round, i didn't write down the notes in a separate set..it is all written in my tutorials. So it is inconvenient to take up different pages for him to photocopy because our lecturer likes to question-hop.
But a girl sitting beside me started asking me questions so yea, i got a friend in the same micro class as me. I have been used to friends in my other classes so i am feeling bored if there isn't any one with me in micro class.
She is another person who thinks that AC=MC. sighhh....
We went to yishun northpoint since both of us haven't been there for ages. Wah...it has changed beyond recognition. I haven't been to yishun for a very long time.
Went to the foodcourt..haah i miss japanese food! Nini and me used to frequent the foodcourt during our jc days and that's my favourite food to eat there..and we would talked about the latest happenings in school. haha
Oh my gosh..how can so many things happen in that space of 10 mins?
1. An aunt working in the foodcourt was carrying the trays away from the table and she tripped over a student's bag and she was on the floor with the contents of the trays being spilled. I heard a crash and when i turned my head..all i could see was her on the floor right in front of me.
The aunt didn't show any difference in her expressions. The student offered to help her up and apologised to her.
2. uncle scolding the workers at the mixed vegetable rice stall...i heard him complaining loudly about their rude attitude. So the workers replied...."u are crazy.."
3. the aunt who fell down asked her co-worker to help her clean up the mess..and the mop accidentally hit an indian uncle nearby...she apologised but he was unhappy about it.
We came across a little girl who was crying so loudly and caused a commotion. The mother was so fed up that she carried the little girl and dumped her near the dustbin.
To me, i don't think it is such a good idea to do this. I read in an article somewhere that kids do have ego...kids don't like embarrassment too ...just like adults do.
I talked about these to some of my friends..and who happened to dislike kids...they said..." huhh...kids have ego?"
Yea they do...kids have feelings too. They do feel whatever adults are feeling.
In this case, the best thing that the mother can do is to take her to a quiet place and talk it out to the kid so at the same time calming her down. That way, more likely the girl will listen.
Then, we headed to chongpang....me wanna look for something there but the shop no longer sells that.
Ahh so many nice clothes...makes me so tempted to go hk or taiwan..haha
on our way there...we met this crazy uncle singing loudly holding a torn and tattered umbrella...scared that he will come after us
we searched everywhere for the dance school..
hmmm..not wat i expected and we were blocked since one group of girls was dancing in the entrance =_=lastly to orchard...
she suggested watching twilight....so we went....and wow, i didn't expect it to be a good movie..haha
it is like the best vampire romance movie i have ever seen..haha
hmm...make me wanna buy the books and read....(>_<)
we spend the rest of our time eating dinner at LJS.Sunday 4 Jan 2009
