Sat 28 March 2009 to Thurs 11 June 2009FINALLY, the blog is active again. ^_^
This period of time was tiring. Really tiring....hitting the books everyday from 7am to 12am. Sometimes, I really don't know how i can go on like this. I feel like i am in a desert, scorching hot and walking endlessly, trying to get out.
The first paper was macroeconomics. And I am really angry with myself because I knew how to do everything but my A just flew away because I just do not have the time to complete. I have asked the invigilators for 3 booklets of paper and the guy sitting on my left was looking at me. I think he must have been thinking..." this gal must have been crazy, can use so many pages for the exam". Yah, he was taking his own sweet time doing the exam. Quite a few people left early, hmm, as early as half an hour into the paper.
Next day, it was microeconomics paper. I managed to attempt the required number of questions because I decided to do another exam approach. Don't spend a lot of time thinking and keep skipping to do the next question if i think for more than a few minutes at the current question. Don't know whether this exam approach will work. But I will hope for the best.
Doing 2 consecutive economics papers are really exhausting. There isn't another time to rest or even revise microeconomics.
Then I have 20 days before my 2 consecutive maths papers.
Unfortunately, I only spent 15 days to study.
I had a high fever of 39.2 degree celsius, feeling very dizzy, will get headache at the slightest thoughts.
I spend my 5 days trying to recover, sleeping the whole day and waking up only to eat my 3 meals. All I can do was to stare blankly into space, trying to empty my mind since I am trying not to think.
After I was more or less on the road to complete recovery, my studying started slow since i need some time to increase momentum and of course fully get well.
My 3 maths papers were held in a different place and I prefer this kind of exam setting. The tables and chairs are so comfortable to use. But the papers were terrible.
Everyone was stressed out and worried.
DWS saw a guy in front of her who kept shaking his head when he looked over at the question paper.
A girl left the examination room after 10 minutes into the paper.
I forgot how to work out the simplest and most standard questions. AHHHH!! This is terrible.
I hate it whenever this happens. I forget things at the wrong moment.
I am wondering whether I can even pass the exams safely.
This is a terrible exam period.
I regretted not stopping work when school reopened in September last year and because of this, i delayed my time for studying and landed in this kind of state that i shouldn't deserve at all.
If I got a chance to repeat whichever year, I think this is one of the years that i will repeat. That is to say, if i have a chance to turn back time, one of my choices is 2009. I want to start 2009 all over again.
Honestly speaking, I couldn't believe my exams have ended. It doesn't seem and feel real to me. I feel like someone is deceiving me.
After exams, my family attended a photography exhibition function. My brother participated in this photography competition. Even though he wasn't selected, he was invited to look at the photographs. And the photographs are so amazing! They are good enough to inspire people.
The whole event was held at Teochew Clan near Orchard. And I can say this, this Teochew clan is so much better than my own clan. They owned the whole stretch of Orchard, i mean the Takashimaya, Mandarin Hotel and the movie place (can't remember what it is called). And they set up a few schools-ngee ann primary, ngee ann secondary, ngee ann poly and others. They even co-operate with an Australian university to come to the clan to teach students. Wah, this is like so many times better than my clan. The people in the clan are so civil and getting along with each other so well. My clan ah, is people backstab here and there and there aren't any big properties owned at all.
The Thai buffet is good!! First time eating this. ^_^
