Original plan- to go mind's cafe with ringu group...
but i was informed to go back to work...
All i did today was just the printing of homework and classwork for the new lessons...didn't had the chance to help out in classes.
Heard that one of the full time teachers were leaving...sad to see her go..really admire her style of teaching-cool.
The only time to truthfully talk it out with close friends at work is during lunch time. Yea..i enjoy this short time with fellow newbies..'walls have ears' if we talk in the office.
I received the sms about tonight..forgotten about it. Told me about informing me the timing to celebrate yw's birthday asap..but it was on that day itself...ya loh so i had clean forgotten about this. Actually had initial plans to do some shopping...need a bag urgently for school!! haha so have to postpone this plan ~~
Meeting ml,yw,zy 6.30pm at chinatown mrt. I end work at 6.30pm in orchard..so have to rush there...
yw smsed me about giving her pay check that day, but it was too late..i was already in work, no time for me to go back home and take it. if i didn't work, it would be much easier.
On the way to the shophouses there, ML saw a flower shop..bought a white rose for yw...
They wanted to find the cafe (windows cafe) that was featured in the singapore movie: The Leap Years written by Catherine Lim. We were searching up and down..everywhere for it. Nobody knows where the street is. Called the cafe's telephone number that was in the website and to our surprise, the number was no longer in use.
Love the scenery there..haha as though we were in another country...^_^
We gave up and decided to go to Spizaas restaurant for our dinner. The moment we walked in, everybody in the resturant was looking at us..probably the reason was we looked the youngest there...all of them were working adults..
The food there was special..haha we ate chocolate coated pizza...another pizza with salmon...and spaghetti..
yw had a craving for ice cream in holland village...headed there via bus...huhu i didn't feel well during the bus journey..shouldn't have sit in the opposite direction..
yea there wasn't any one sitting at the table with the swings as seats...
after a while, we headed home...
