sat 6 june~
hmmm second day of work...we were told by the people there that during weekends, we have to wear red t-shirt. Is it for superstition? hmm..that's what i think but i am not sure what the real reason is. I dun have red t-shirt...so i chose some colour that is very close to red. haha
The weekend lessons are packed, over 100 students. The principal placed us into different classes to sit in. Personally, i prefer to be in 4-6 age group class because parents will not be in class. Parents are only allowed in the 2-3 age group class...the kids need their parents' assistance. So not only do teachers have to face the kids, they have to face the parents( a tough challenge).
During lunch break, me together with GH and JAS went for lunch at Macdonalds. It is more convenient for me to help ES buy lunch. GH and me got a shock when JAS said she has a husband! she doesn't look like she is married loh plus she is only 22 years old. ooo they registered marriage just last month. Then we asked her about how they know each other..and wah her love story version was so hilarious that i think my sore throat is getting worse from all the laughing. heez
After the end of a class, parents were invited to attend the briefing by the teachers about what their children had done and their performances. When I was about to close the door, a girl happened to put her hand at the gap of the door...so told her to not put her hand there and she listened. The second time, it was a little kid who closed the door and her fingers were caught...the parent went into a frenzy and was so over concerned with the girl. hmm..that was a very big reaction..can see that they really care for their children..perhaps a little over the top. it was a good thing the parent didn't lodge a complaint.
So far, i have heard parents complaining about the classes...i dun think it is the teachers' fault. They just want something to complain about or they are just too overly concerned with their kids to the extent of pampering/spoiling them.
