~Tues~
Monday night, 'Jan' told me about japanese bookshop hiring people and people can apply from 26 may to 28 may...$7 per hour....but i am not free during this period of time. so tried to find some time to go..asked many friends to see whether they can accompany me...wah..thank goodness JJ can make it on tues...for a while.
Tues, i already promised my dance junior to go watch movie: made of honour with her at vivocity. Because of my delay in replying, she asked another friend too. So in the end, the 3 of us watched the movie. Initially, the socio group planned to watch made of honour together...but i felt so guilty about rejecting my dance junior's invitations to go out..okay..my plan was to leave after the movie for the job interview..since she got another friend with her.
Watching the 11.50am show...i reached vivocity at around 11.15am....my earphones went haywire so had to buy earphones at supermarket. after that..was finding Jan's workplace so i could visit her after the movie. The 2 friends were late...we rushed into the theatre..the movie hadn't begin...whew...
The movie: Made of Honour

Made of Honor revolves around Tom and Hannah, who have been platonic friends for 10 years. He's a serial dater, while she wants marriage but hasn't found Mr. Right. Just as Tom is starting to think that he is relationship material after all, Hannah gets engaged. When she asks Tom to be her "maid" of honor, he reluctantly agrees just so he can attempt to stop the wedding and woo her.

Simple and sweet story..(^_^) He is dashing..whenever i see his eyes, i feel like i am looking at the bright blue sky..haha When i told my friends my description of him, they were laughing away.(dramatic description right?) haha The girl is pretty...but i think 2 weeks is very fast to know someone and want to get married to someone. I am glad it is a happy ending.
After the movie, I visited jan's workplace. She started work at 2pm onwards and i was there before 2pm. Wah...surprised that she was there..haha she is the queen of lateness in my socio group.
I asked so many friends and JJ is the only one who is free to accompany me for the job interview. Rushed to orchard....there are so many people queuing for the job...a wide range of types of people...more of people with "near-deviant" behaviour. If I was going alone, i would have given up when i saw so many applicants.
Highlights of job description
1. need to be able to carry 10-20 kg boxes of books
2. working in the warehouse (no air-con, no fans, just windows)
I went for the interview anyway. Hmm..why can't they just use trolleys or something..don't have to carry all the way to the tables and blah blah.
raining cats and dogs again..aiii...
this job interview..made me start to search for jobs...
okok i will be sending resumes tomorrow
"Ca" sent resumes to 15 companies and no one replied. Her friend sent resumes to 20 companies and it was the same response. Gardener mentioned that finding a job is a headache compared to working.
