Happy April Fool's day!!
Hmm, I couldn't think of any tricks to fool my friends~~
My lecturer managed to pull a trick on us by saying he wanted to end the lesson one hour later...and that would be 8 hour lesson! haha we really believed him!
Today is a very long day for us....at least the lecturer is trying to engage all of us during the 7 hour lesson. Wah, I can't stand any 7 hour lesson le. My friend is going to have a rough time tomorrow..her lesson starts from 10am-10pm!! Another friend is having 6 day classes for a week. Oooo endure!!
I noticed that my sociology teachers like to talk about football...haha perhaps it is part of their culture that people like football regardless of gender. He had a leg injury because of playing football and it was so painful, yet he did his best in teaching us...thanks so much!!
The funny thing about him was...he went out for a while to talk to other people and he forgot to switch off the microphone..so we heard his conversation so clearly!! haha all of us in the lecture room was laughing. He was asking his friends whether they are going to Orchard or East Coast later.. haha. A student was kind to leave the classroom and tell him that he was too loud..he spoke softly but we still could hear him ..because the main point was he didn't switch off the microphone..
He told us about how it was difficult to understand Singaporean's accent.
One day, he wanted to go to Sim Lim Square but he didn't know how to go..so he asked for directions. The person asked him...would you like to take a bus? He heard it as..would you like to take a bath? He got a shock and said ..no thank you...
Another time, someone asked him...would you want to go to the restroom?
It was the first time he came across this word..so he thought it was a room to rest..and he replied...i am not tired..haha
He asked all of us to think of 3 qualities of what we want to see in a potential bf/gf?
He continued on by saying..if you want a guy to be honest, loyal and blah blah ..all those good qualites in one person..( i don't remember the other qualities that he mentioned)...i should tell you that it is not possible at all..no such man existed..this kind of man has not been invented yet..
haha an interesting answer....
A few years back, our lecturer marked this question about the limitations of having interviews.
A candidate wrote that the interviews may not be accurate because....
the interviewer and interviewee may fall in love during the interview...
!!!!! what kind of answer is that? The candidate must have been watching too many dramas. The lecturer started lamenting about it didn't happen to him during interviews...
