Helloz everybody!! *wave wave*

If you managed to see this entry, haha i guess you are in luck because this is an interesting entry.I took such a long time writing this.

For the preparation of the exciting friday night, i slept for 2 hours in the afternoon. We had to bring a torch and pens according to the SCs. I took my father's torchlight which has special functions- produce the sound of siren and listen to the radio. haha I have a lot of things to bring so no choice, have to bring my current school bag. hmm..i shall buy another bag next time. The rest of my bags are not big enough. Actually there was some problem with the torchlights in my house so I asked my friend to bring an extra torchlight just in case. What other preparations do I need? haha My bro suggested to bring lighted joss sticks in replacement of a torchight. (-_-)" Then I will have to make sure that the joss sticks will be lighted all the time. Garlic necklace? haha That is only workable in reel life. Because of my shoes, I have to put plasters in the form of a "cross". haha my friends find that amusing..does that help prevent me from any "danger"? One of my friends (Y-Y) mentioned about how lucky we are that we brought pens along. haha Do you know why? So that I could make amulets (is the yellow piece of paper with a lot of doodling called amulet?). During maths lessons, I prefer to do my workings on rough paper. And when I cancelled my workings, she said that it looks like those writing on the amulets. haha So if anything happens, I can make amulets and paste them everywhere. haha

We met up at 7.15pm to go to school together. She bought a lot of tidbits at the provision shop nearby. Felt so cooling while walking in the night. Another friend (E-E)reached the school earlier than us. We were supposed to go to 4.13 room but she thought we were supposed to meet at the atrium. Anyways, we weren't late. haha The itinerary of the night's event was watching a movie, playing a game and then the highlight of the night- the API night tour around Singapore!! The whole event should start at 8pm but it was postponed to 8.30pm because the rest were late. There was one whole group of people from China. We watched an hour of the movie-The Grudge 2. Oh my..it was very horrifying. (E-E) was afraid of watching scary movies so she was playing psp instead. Funny loh, sometimes she will look up at the screen and when other people screamed, she screamed too even though she doesn't know what is happening in the movie. (Y-Y) is not afraid of watching scary movies. The only thing that (Y-Y) is afraid of watching scary movies is the fact that she is sitting beside me. haha This time, I didn't jump up. I have been covering my ears when I thought "something" is going to appear. There were a lot of loud screaming from the china gals. Edison Chen appeared in the movie. haha I think he is a cool guy. But too bad, he "died" after a short while. When something appeared on the screen, I didn't exactly saw it because I wasn't looking straight at the screen. haha While watching the movie, we were munching on the tidbits. It's munchy time!!

Finally, we were going to play a game. This game is about going everywhere in the school campus, playing mini fear factor games, getting the clues and solving the mystery. Rose was found butchered and poisoned. Then Jack (the husband of Rose) was agitated over the whole incident and he died in the burning house the next night. So we were supposed to discover who killed her. We took a long time to find out the place of the first clue because there are so many carparks. Which one?? Haha from this whole game, it only proves one thing- we don't know our school campus very well. After a very long time, we managed to find the place. We were supposed to find a black object in the grass patch without any help of a torchlight. The facilitator was surprised that there were only 3 of us in the group. (E-E) - "no loh, we have one more with us, can you see?"haha it took him quite some time to get the joke. (-_-)" He asked whether we are first year students. (E-E) made use of the camera's flash to find out the black object- the cover of the knife blade. The second place was a classroom - we had to eat something and listened to a clue. The 3rd place was at the canteen. (E-E) purposely made loud walking sounds to indicate that our group is arriving.

The fourth place was the most memorable of the whole game. We had to find staircase 9 and when we reached there, there were a few groups before us and they were taking a long time finishing the task. We had no idea what the task was. Then someone upstairs called our group to come up cos we can do the task at his station. So okay loh, we went up to the garden and it was pitch dark. He had 2 pails in front of him and one pail was covered with white cloth. The task was to pick up 5 living objects from the pail and put in the other pail. We became suspicious of the identity of the living objects and he showed us. It is frogs!! Gosh...and he was nice to us in that he gave us a discount- 3 frogs. (Y-Y) was very brave. Everytime she took one out and into the pail, she would be jumping away with a very big reaction. (E-E) screamed very loudly whenever a frog jumped. He was squatting at the pails while using his handphone's torchlight to shine at the pail for us. There was once (E-E) suddenly screamed in front of him and he got quite a fright and jumped up. Haha I am scared of all these kind of stuff so I didn't do. Actually I wanted de, but when I managed to gather up my courage, (E-E)'s screaming would make my courage disappeared. Coincidentally, he is a first year student too doing business management. Then he said that he didn't see us before.Of course loh, we were all in the dark, how can we see each other? It was so dark and I only knew he wore specs. haha We seldom bumped into business students, that's why. My friends in sociology class are all business students. He introduced himself and haha immediately i linked his name to "fu rong dan". Now I don't even remember his real name.

It turned out that we had to do the task at the staircase too because "fu rong dan" said that he had make a mistake of what his station was. I thought we were spared by that. The challenge at staircase 9 is to take 5 crickets and put in the other pail. (E-E) was the one to do that. The 6th clue was to go to carpark B2 to find something fishy about a pillar. We couldn't find anything suspicious and no facilitator was there. That was strange so we went to find any facilitators about the problem. We suspected someone took the envelope away. When we went back to B2, we were all searching and just straight ahead, I saw the red envelope at the red box. How can it be so obviously there when we couldn't find it at the beginning? (Y-Y) claimed that she didn't see it when she was looking at the red box initially. Hmm..maybe someone put back the red envelope during the time we went to search for the facilitators at another floor.

The last clue is -Are you feeling lucky? We were asking the facilitators for some hint and they said to find a guy with a blue light and he will tell us the clue. We went around searching on the 3rd floor. Happened to look down to the 2nd floor and saw a group of people started to crowding around this guy. Aha! THat's the one we were searching for. (E-E) gave a loud "Ooooooo" and the people downstairs looked up at us. haha He had very dark eyecircles (Panda) and he told us to search in the toilets to find something. Both of them went to search in the toilets and I was told to tail Panda because he was going everywhere. After a while, they couldn't find any clue. I went to search too and I looked at every nook and cranny. We all agreed that the male toilets is especially smelly, even the guys from other groups agreed. haha Went back to Panda and told him that we couldn't find anything. He decided to give us a clue saying that it was in that toilet. Still, there wasn't anything. When we came out, we saw (E-E) with one facilitator. (E-E) thought he was also the one who had the answer to the clue because he had a blue light too. Haha mistaken identity- he didn't know anything. Went to the toilets repeatedly and there was a red cloth with the word Ghost in Chinese stuffed in the tissue roll holder. Some people finally put it back loh. I was certain that I did check that place before. When we came out of the toilets for the last time,we saw "fu rong dan" again. He and 2 other facilitators were clearing off the insects.Yah, he recognised us but he still reintroduced himself and the others. I only remembered them as "the relative of fu rong dan" (because his name really sounds like another variation of fu rong dan) and Wayne. haha I think he is blur in a funny sort of way. He said- can u reintroduce yourself because I don't remember your names? haah Erm.. we didn't mention our names in the first place. (-_-)" It was time to assemble at the gates already so we just left. We were one of the last groups to reach there. Too bad...Those who got the answer correctly and the fastest group won prizes.

It was such a long waiting time. Time check- it was going to be midnight soon. It started to drizzle and we moved to a sheltered place. Yea~~time for the last activity. Since we are the 3rd group, we got to board the bus earlier. We chose to sit at the last row of the bus. (Y-Y) seated closest to the window, me at the middle and (E-E) at my right side. Need to wait even more..(Y-Y) listened to her ipod and (E-E) played her psp again. Wah..(Y-Y) had numerous songs ( around 900 plus songs)! It just so happened that (Y-Y)'s torchlight couldn't work and (E-E) didn't bring any torchlight at all. So we have only 2 workable torchlights among us. Only 5 people can sit at the back of the bus but don't know why, this group insisted to sit together, so it became 6 people seated there. The facilitators asked a big group of people to move to the other bus because there was more seats at the other side. Finally, someone in the bus addressed all of us and gave a briefing about the tour. He is the Asian Paranormal Investigators President- Mr Charles Goh. Haha I felt so honoured to have him as our night tour guide. Well, he planned to take us to 3 places- cemetery village, johor tunnel and medium in a cemetery. He had to translate whatever he said to Mandarin because of the PRCs in our bus. He said "ghost tour" but when he translated that to Mandarin, it became "dai ghui tuan"..hmmm..does that mean we are ghosts? haha

First stop was the Cemetery Village. Our ancestors from China came to Singapore..so this particular village is where the ancestors used to live and it was also their final resting place. As time goes by, most of the villagers died. Then he started asking anyone who has the sir name "Ong". Wah, only me loh in the bus. He continued on saying that the "Ong" family has been taking care of the cemetery for many generations. So those "Ong" de are your (bao hu shen)(protectors) when we are walking in the cemetery later. What?? me?? haha We didn't know where we were heading and we finally reached there. We got down from the bus and right in front of us was this huge opening that leads to the dark and we couldn't see anything else. Our group was behind this girl group who was in front. Haha we met again because we saw them while setting off for the game earlier. Yea, we made friends with them. The tour guide told us to start walking into the darkness. What??!!!!! He wasn't in front loh and he expected us to just walk straight into that darkness. All of us didn't dare to do so. Can't believe that we are actually going to walk through a cemetery in the night!!Oh no..do we actually have to go through that? I suddenly don't wanna go in. The 3 of us decided to stick very close to each other by interlocking our arms when we stepped into the village. Me in the middle, (Y-Y) on my left and (E-E) on my right since I am the one with the brightest torchlight. The three of us were busy chatting all the way. To lighten the mood, I suggested singing. But we also don't know what to sing. Randomly, I thought of Fahrenheit and S.H.E'song -Thank you for your gentleness. (Y-Y)-" a bit inappropriate to sing in the middle of a cemetery".haha Off we went, I didnt dare to look at the sides of where we were walking because they are bound to be graves all around. So I was just busy "admiring" the floor. Our group and the gal group in front were walking too fast and the rest of the people were lagging behind. Had no idea why they took such a long time to catch up with us. Mr Charles stopped us and said - do you want to look at the well which the villagers used? Haha we all said no because we were too frightened to look closely at that. Mr Charles wanted to show us two houses in this village- one of them is the tomb house. It was where the family stayed to take care of the graves and of course one of the graves is in the house itself. I had the image of a maseolum in my mind but I was wrong. We walked one round looking at the contents of the house. The inhabitants kept squirrels, parrot and dogs inside the house. An illegal immigrant is currently staying there but he went to hiding once he heard the dogs' bark. That tomb was massive. I don't think I will dare to live in a house with a dead person buried there. I thought it was a dead end but after waiting for everyone to finish a tour of the house--> (E-E)-" Going back to formation 1", we continued on. Oh man, how far were we in already? Mr Charles led us straight and then time to turn left into the vegetation. I felt even more insecure because I had no idea where we were heading to. We saw a river and it was said that the villagers used to wash clothes and bathe in there. There were stone steps leading down to the river. The floor was getting very muddy because of the earlier rain and the path was getting narrower so we had to walk in a single file. haha anyway we still held hands just in case. Finally, there was another house ahead. This house had a mirror in front. It made me recall of this picture that I saw in SPI website..could it be this very house that I read about in one of the SPI cases? Who will want to look into the mirror at this time of the night? There was a porch and the door was locked. There were still clothes hanging there at the porch. Mr Charles told us about the sightings of a long-haired female ghost loitering near the banana tree that was near this house. I didn't even want to look in the direction of that banana tree. It is the end of the first stop and all of us headed back to the buses.Whew..what a relief!!

Time to go for the 2nd stop!! We went to Marsiling's Johor tunnel. This is an urban legend-it was rumoured that during the war, either the British soldiers or the Japanese soldiers dug an underground tunnel that linked from Singapore to Johore. Our bus stopped near the forest and we went in. Haha it is my first time walking into the forest so early in the morning and in total darkness. We had to be extra careful because there were broken glasses, planks, slopes and plants with thorns obstructing our way. I think because of my nervousness, I kept accidentally setting off the siren and the radio at odd moments. We finally reached the tunnel entrance. Ooo it looked really ancient and giving out that ominous feeling. Again, we hesitated going in. The floor was wet and dirty. Walked down and down and it felt like there was something exciting coming on. Couldn't wait to see where it would lead us to. We have reached a fork and the other API guy said that we couldn't go further because one path is a dead end and the other path was too muddy for us to walk. All we could see were water pipes. Disappointed, we had to walk out of the tunnel. One part of the tunnel was blocked by bundles of wire so we had problem walking back out. The incoming people weren't very considerate..they didn't even let us come out. If we didn't go out, there will be a jam later on. The gal group was friendly enough to help us. (^_^) Mr Charles showed us another route to get out of the forest. There were stone structures which made it difficult to walk and walking over the slippery water pipes. We saw the other entrance of the tunnel. If we were to continue on walking in the tunnel, then we would have come out from this opening. There was a last obstacle before getting back on the road- to get across the big ditch. The three of us made it safely, thanks to the help of the API guy. Some of the people lost their balance and slipped into the ditch. Yea- we could see Malaysia from here.

The next stop would be the nearby petrol station to freshen up before going to the last place. The bus started moving and the faciliators were busy doing a headcount. This was the part where everything started to go wrong. There was a missing person!! There should be 46 people in this bus, but only 45 were here. They counted numerous times but the number is still 45. The rest of us had no idea who went missing. As far as I knew, none of my friends gone missing. Before the start of the tour, one of the 2 seaters in the bus had only one guy seated there with his Nike bag. Now, the 2 seaters were empty. The API guys and the male facilitators went back to the forest to search for the missing guy. The rest of us were waiting in the bus. Unfortunately, they couldn't find anyone in the forest. The whole search took more than an hour. We couldn't just leave the missing guy behind. Everyone came out of the buses to do an attendance taking but the guy's name wasn't there, I think. So there is no way to contact him, somemore, the handphone reception in the forest is not that clear.

There are several speculations as to what had happened. He didn't register for the event and he just slipped into the bus for the night tour. After the first stop, he may have gone home. Earlier,a senior saw 2 taxis that came and one of the taxi was hired. She was the only one who saw the taxi though. The uncles who were in charge of driving the buses didn't see any taxis at all. What a mystery- we couldn't figure out.

We couldn't complete the tour because of this missing person.Sighh..we were looking forward to the last stop. If the guy really leave like that, he should have some sense of responsibility to report that he is leaving to the people-in-charge. It was around 4plus am and we were heading back to school. My friends were sleeping in the bus. I just couldn't go to sleep. haha I prefer to sleep in the comfort of my bed. Everyone got down at King Albert Park for breakfast. But we headed home by taxi since it was too early to wait for the buses. That's the good thing of having friends living in the same area, haha can go home together. My other friends lived so far away from me so I always have to go home alone. (Y-Y) and I agreed to meet at 7am to have breakfast together. (E-E) didn't come for lesson at 8.30am because she was too tired. When I reached home at 5.30am, my brother was walking out of the room and he waved at me. I thought he was sleepwalking so I was wondering whether should I wave. haha Yah, he was awake and he wanted to hear about the event. My legs felt so tired and I was lying in my bed while chatting with my brother about what happened. I packed my bag and I got ready to meet (Y-Y). Ooo I didn't sleep for a night. (Y-Y) nearly overslept but she wasn't late. We went to Macdonald for breakfast and went to school. My concentration level was quite okay and (Y-Y) was poking me at certain intervals to make sure that I didn't sleep during class. Thank goodness (Y-Y) had bought sour tapes (my favourite) the night before so I was secretly eating that during lesson. Finally, break time was here and (Y-Y) couldn't take it anymore and she went to sleep. I was busy talking to another friend who didn't go for the event. The class had ended and i went home to sleep.

I think it is not a bad experience after all. It was fun with friends.
