@The impossible has happened, why can't the possible happen too??@

Today, the department treated everyone to breakfast because it is the 2 interns' last day of attachment in here. Actually, they bought the food real late and my friend and I were starving. We thought that they may cheat our feelings if they ended up buying nothing. Haha breakfast is a very important meal to me. It is a must to eat compared to lunch and dinner. I think i can eat the same stuff for lunch too since there is a lot left. Haha i told my friend to hide the box of food for ourselves later. hee of cos we didn't do so.

Ahh...today is friday the 13th. I didn't notice till one of the colleagues mentioned it. I think last year, there were more friday the 13th compared to other years. I am now reading up about friday the 13th.heez

Taken from a website

In the Western world, a significant chunk of the population suspects bad things will happen whenever the 13th day of a month occurs on the day of the week called Friday.
Like many human beliefs, the fear of Friday the 13th (known as paraskevidekatriaphobia) isn't exactly grounded in scientific logic. But the really strange thing is that most of the people who believe the day is unlucky offer no explanation at all, logical or illogical. As with most superstitions, people fear Friday the 13th for its own sake, without any need for background information.

If that's the case, we are guilty of perpetuating a misnomer by labeling Friday the 13th "the unluckiest day of all," a designation perhaps better reserved for, say, a Friday the 13th on which one breaks a mirror, walks under a ladder, spills the salt, and spies a black cat crossing one's path — a day, if there ever was one, best spent in the safety of one's own home with doors locked, shutters closed and fingers crossed.

Unlucky Friday + Unlucky 13 = Unluckier Friday

My Comments: (-______________-)"" like that also can...the name of the phobia is so long.

urban legends are really fascinating. haha...but too bad that there are not real. i used to hope that the loch ness monster is real. but then, a brave guy walked on the floor of that huge lake and said that there is no sight of such a monster. Somemore, the floor is very smooth. The merman shown in the website seems scary but luckily, it is not real.haha but it looked so real.

i think i am really doing random surfing..haha now looking at jokes.

Supposedly, these are actual advertisements that have appeared in papers across the country. haha read carefully the ads..it is funny..

the jokes in here are funny too haha

was busy at work when suddenly someone called my name. haha and the person-in-charge of personal matters was with my friend..haha..yea we will be working at the same place too but too bad, we are in different departments. i think her job scope is much wider. but aiya, we will still be seeing each other everyday. haha...was so happy to see her....i think i behave like seeing long-lost friends though we just met maybe one month plus back..haha

hmm..have you ever come across situations whereby u hear someone calling your name but there isn't anyone around. haha if you have, please tell me. If not, i will think i am the only one with that problem. haha at least, tell me that it is normal for such things to happen.

Creepy eh? haha i have experienced that many times before. I can recall one incident. Last year, I was in the school bookshop when i heard someone calling my name very near my right ear. Really sounds like the voice of one of my friend. Then i turned around but there was no one around me. And my the other friend was at the back part of the bookshop so there is no way she will call my name plus her voice is not like that. Then i keep on looking around and really there wasn't anyone that I know of.When we were outside the bookshop, i asked my friend whether she has seen that friend around in the bookshop. My friend said that she has already gone straight home cos it was after school mah. Though both of us knew that she wasn't in school at all at that time, i still had to make sure whether it was really her. Till now, I don't have any answer. Maybe my ears are playing tricks on me.
