Super Rookie (신입사원: rookie employee) is an intelligent comedy which gives hope and courage to young people going through difficult times.
It is a story of a young man (Kang Ho) who gets a job in a prestigious company because of a computer error. Our hero, Kang Ho, doesn't have a great family or educational background and is regarded as slacker in the traditional terms. Concordantly, he seems to have spent his life devoted to reading comic books, playing cards, kick boxing, and the like. However he is spirited, street smart, athletic, loyal, and charismatic - especially with the ladies. The drama reveals his how he gets his new job, his work-life, and the love and passions in life in a very interesting way. He never gets discouraged despite all of life’s difficulties. Kang Ho’s high spirits and Mi-ok’s efforts to improve her life give today’s younger generation a chance to look at their own lives and ponder what’s truly valuable.
Up till now,i am already done with 13 epsiodes. Still got 7 more episodes to go. I decided to watch this drama 2 years ago. .so finally i can watch it. Yea.. The main reason is that I wanted to see Eric's acting (leader of Shinhwa). Haha...quite curious of their acting skills. Not bad bah, i should say. I can rather connect with the characters at certain moments in their lives. However, there are some portions of their behaviour that i am rather puzzled about. Hmm..especially about the secondary actor (forgot his name-but he is called Mr Finest behind his back) Does he still like Mi-ok?? he is like hovering between 2 girls and everyone is confused about his actions. Kang Ho clearly likes Mi-ok and he sure has nice and sweet lines. For eg: he saw Mi-ok in front of him. he decided to call her on the phone and sounded as though he is in another part of the office.. after a while he popped behind to surprise her. haha...Mi-ok asked him why is he there..and he said...because u are here. Aww..so sweet..haha Another scenario was that he waited up for her at the bar and he said ..i just miss u.. haha hmmm..i tried to search for synopsis but too bad, there isn't. So i have to watch and see how the drama unravel its story. Hope it has a sweet ending. haha...
